I didn´t really used your great tutorial, but I was relieved that you sculpt paws like I do x3 (crafting my first posable doll ever right now and found your great tutos^^)
Your beak-tutorial is really awesome! I was so mad that I got the head finished before I found it, the next will have a movable beak too xD

when you add detail and then you touch it dos the detail get smudged and does the paw squish when you stick the wire in it?

Oh, i forgot to write about this part. Yes, the detail can get smudged when you touch it! You can stick the wire in it before you add details or you stick a skewer (for BBQ, kabob etc.) into the foot and continue sculpting. When your done, move the skewer around to make the hole big enough, so that you can glue the wire in the hole after baking. You can also carve the sculpey after baking, but please be careful with your fingers!

I hope that helps! :meow:

Thank you for this! I just used it and it turned out quite well (yeah I'm newbie... never used polymer clay before)!
If you would like to take a look, here you are [link] . I didn't add so much details because it's only the first try, so sorry for the bad quality! ^^''
