Question...... What about the undersides of the paws? Those are what give ME trouble....

You can leave 'em flat or add paw pads after the first baking - so it is easier to apply them. If you do bake the paws to later apply paw pads, make sure to cut the baking time in half so the paws don't burn in the second run. :meow:

Your beak-tutorial is really awesome! I was so mad that I got the head finished before I found it, the next will have a movable beak too xD

when you add detail and then you touch it dos the detail get smudged and does the paw squish when you stick the wire in it?

Oh, i forgot to write about this part. Yes, the detail can get smudged when you touch it! You can stick the wire in it before you add details or you stick a skewer (for BBQ, kabob etc.) into the foot and continue sculpting. When your done, move the skewer around to make the hole big enough, so that you can glue the wire in the hole after baking. You can also carve the sculpey after baking, but please be careful with your fingers!

I hope that helps! :meow:

There are several ways to attach the head to the body. One way is to pull holes trough the sculpey before you bake it, so you can sew the head to the body. The other way is to simply glue it to the body. I used hot glue on my dolls. I hope it that helps! Let me see when you're done with your doll, i am curious! :meow:

If you build paws this way, you glue the fur on the inner side of the "feathers" on the foot. There will be no further tutorial about how to build a wire armature. Here you can see on the last pictures how i use to build the wire armature [link] - It is just a small picture, but i hope it helps. You put the wire inside the paws before baking it in the oven, but you can use different ways also..

Oh there is no further tutorial after this one. I just loaded up this one because some people asked me how i sculpt paws.

The next steps would be to sew the completed wire armature into the body, (You can use this way for sample: [link] )stuff it and glue the end of the legs with the paws together, glue the head on and make some finishing color work.

Thats it! I hope it helped!
